Greetings, I am Richard. Do you struggle with viewing yourself in a positive light? Has something in your life affected your sense of worth or is keeping you from living the life that was meant for you? In my over ten years of being a therapist, I have worked with many people to help them move past negative core beliefs about themselves, resolve past traumas that continue to affect them in harmful ways, and overall, learn to change the narrative of their story from hurtful and non-supportive to achieving healthy self-worth and love and acceptance of themselves.

I enjoy working with people who want to create positive and lasting changes in their lives. Sometimes this is accomplished by simply talking through a confusing and stressful experience with a caring person in a safe place. Sometimes positive change is made by learning and using a new skill. There are times when you might want and/or need a deeper journey to get to know yourself better, your natural strengths and limitations, the source of your suffering, your desires and values, and perhaps your direction in life. I am comfortable working with people in any of these ways.

Our life's work is helping clients achieve a better sense of self and happiness..more recently we've recognized that without good mental health providers this balance in life can be more difficult and stressful. However, through therapy our associates have our clients transform into the people they want to be. We see each client as an individual with many parts to their identity. Utilizing a holistic and systemic approach we help clients reintegrate the parts of themselves to function better as individuals and within their systems. Our focus tends toward a family systems based approach using behavior methods.

Obsessive-Compulsive (OCD) Therapists
Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is an anxiety disorder in which people have unwanted and repeated thoughts, feelings, ideas, sensations (obsessions), or behaviors that make them feel driven to do something (compulsions). It affects children, kids, teens and adults. Often the person carries out the behaviors to get rid of the obsessive thoughts, but this only provides temporary relief. Not performing the obsessive rituals can cause great anxiety. A person's level of OCD can be anywhere from mild to severe, but if severe and left untreated, it can destroy a person's capacity to function at work, at school or even to lead a comfortable existence in the home.
