I especially enjoy working with people seeking deeper self-understanding and growth, whether you're navigating anxiety, parenting challenges, relationships, or a life transition.
I believe we are all here to grow into more conscious, responsible, and whole versions of ourselves. Sometimes life supports that growth beautifully; other times it brings experiences that leave us anxious, hurting, confused, or disconnected from who we know ourselves to be. I see these difficult places not simply as symptoms to eliminate, but as opportunities to understand ourselves more deeply, heal what needs our attention, and reconnect with the wisdom and strength already within us.

I have guided parents through child loss, supported families with children who have chronic and terminal illnesses, navigated extended hospital stays as a new parent or with other children at home, and assisted parents in grieving the loss of a “healthy” child.
Accepting New Clients as of 7/2025
Working with and supporting families through some of life’s most difficult transitions is what led me to a deep desire to support families during one of the biggest transitions: pregnancy and parenthood. My own journey to motherhood highlighted the critical need for specialized support in perinatal mental health. I often felt alone, as though nobody ever spoke about the things I was experiencing. Understanding the unique emotional complexities surrounding pregnancy, childbirth, and the identity shift of parenthood, I am passionate about ensuring that others don’t feel “alone” in their experiences.

I'm passionate about helping people (esp. parents, adults, teens/20-somethings) realize how important and real their feelings are.
Our world is changing at such a rapid pace. You may feel it's difficult to cope with all these shifts in your life, and to keep up with daily routines. We have all been through a huge upheaval the past several years. Are you looking for a safe, non-judgmental place to process some of these challenges? Or maybe you need some tools and resources to help you (or a loved one) manage anxiety, stress or trauma. Maybe your child/tween/teen/20 yr old has become surprisingly disagreeable, spending less time with family, pushing you away. You may notice changes in appearance, or name. Whether sudden or gradual, you may not know how to cope.

Parenting Therapists
What does therapy for parenting look like?
Therapists may work with parents individually, together, or include the whole family to find solutions for the problems a parent faces. Many parent-based therapies work on a parent’s relationship with their children, problem-solving within the family, and analysis of family dynamics. Therapy conducted remotely by video may be helpful in allowing a therapist to observe how families interact in their own homes.
When should a parent seek therapy?
When behavioral problems begin to disrupt the healthy functioning of a family, it may be a good time to look into therapy. If parents find that children are acting out in school, have started using drugs or alcohol, have developed eating disorders, or other similar red flags, a therapist may be able to help.
How long does therapy take for parenting problems?
Depending on the severity of a family’s challenges and the type of treatment utilized, therapy for parenting can last from weeks to months. Cognitive behavioral therapy is a pragmatic therapy type that can be brief, most often ranging from between 5 and 20 sessions. Structural family therapy, which inspects family dynamics, often takes several months. Parent-child interaction therapy is typically shorter-term, lasting between 10 and 20 sessions. For any therapy, the duration will depend on the progress made and results realized.
Can therapy help parents dealing with burnout or stress?
Parenting is difficult. Parents may dismiss or conceal feelings of exhaustion, overwhelm, or escape ideation—imagining withdrawing from their parental obligations altogether. but left unattended, these feelings can have negative effects on the whole family. A therapist can help parents work on the skills they might need to better cope with the burdens of parenting and help them be the best parents they can be.
