As a licensed professional counselor, I work mainly with adolescents and adults suffering with anxiety and depression. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with fifteen years of experience in the mental health field. I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from North Park University and a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from Northwestern University. It is an honor to meet individuals from all walks of life, listen to their stories, and be a source of support for them during their most painful times. I work with individuals and couples who struggle with depression, anxiety, communication conflict, divorce, grief and loss , workplace stress, parenting, life transitions, infertility and adoption concerns.

Navigating life's ups and downs can be stressful. We all experience the downs at some point and need that extra support person to help guide us through it. I work a lot with anxiety and depression. Grief of a loss or any type and the everyday stresses in life when they get to be too much. I work with a lot of adolescents who are dealing with the stress of high school, adults who are having trouble with handling the stress of life and careers. I am a individual and family therapist licensed in Illinois with over 5 years of experience working as a psychotherapist in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I have specialized experience working in residential based treatment providing long term care-treatment as well as short term crisis outpatient-field work. I have worked with clients with a range of concerns and diagnoses including depression, anxiety, parenting problems, abandonment issues, grief and loss , trauma, mood disorders, etc. My therapy style is warm and interactive. I meet my clients where they are using therapeutic approaches that will better meet their needs.

During my professional career I have worked with individuals of all ages who suffer from traumatic experiences, mood disorders, chronic illness, grief and loss , crisis intervention and a host of other issues. I am a certified premarital/marital counseling facilitator with PREPARE/ENRICH. I am also a Board Certified Telemental Health provider which allows me to provide counseling via Video calls.
