For both therapy and coaching , I utilize my experience to integrate empirically supported practice into the work I do as a coach.
The current state of affairs has led many of us to feel a little lost, overwhelmed, frustrated, or worried. As a mother, clinician, entrepreneur and wife I understand balancing the many roles we hold can be especially daunting in the current climate and provide traditional therapy services for IL residents. In addition to traditional therapy, I also provide coaching services, and enjoy working with female identifying entrepreneurs and content creators. Many of my clients are managing high functioning anxiety or ADHD while navigating a super busy life , trying to fit all the pieces together while also engaging in self care.

People inspire me... the way they meet the myriad challenges that life presents. Life can be difficult and most of the time we take it in stride and often retain our sense of humor in the midst of this difficulty. Sometimes, we are unable to do it alone. Taking the appropriate steps, you will persevere. Psychotherapy does work; further suffering is optional. Please call me for a free consultation: 708-271-2864.

In my 15 of years providing therapy, I have worked with various individuals experiencing different life challenges. The goal is to create a connection and from that connection build a bridge to healing and recovery. I believe that we are all seeking radical acceptance and radical belonging. Systemic oppression significantly impacts mental and physical wellness. I strongly believe it is not that a person needs to be "fixed". Marginalized and oppressed folx need support, space, agency, and tools to navigate an increasingly hostile and toxic environment.

My experience allows me to assist individuals with identifying challenging areas in their life and developing strategies and methodologies to adequately and timely address maladaptive behaviors and fears that are barriers to their mental health status and healthy growth and development. The hardest step is making the call and asking for help. Some may see that as a weakness where I see it as a strength. In our everyday lives we are asked to sacrifice and to help others, but who is helping you during your time of sadness, fear, anxiety or despair? I would like to be that light for you by offering non judgmental, client centered,

In our work together you will learn how to forgive and love yourself to take back control of your life and remember your power.
Do you have a case of "Monkey Mind” over thinking or can’t stop thinking? Do you believe you are not enough? Are you feeling stuck and not sure how to move forward? Do you struggle with the funky blahs? I am a Licensed Clinical Therapist and Self Mastery Coach, and I am dedicated to helping women facilitate powerful change through joyful self-realization that aligns with their values and dreams. Life Coaching Therapists

What can I expect from life coaching?

Clients and coaches will typically start by identifying the problem area(s) that the client hopes to address—then, the coach will help the client brainstorm potential solutions and explore concrete techniques to help the client attain their goals. Coaching is typically short-term and focused on finding solutions in the here and now, rather than exploring a client’s past. In addition to strategies aimed at the client’s specific concerns, coaches may encourage general stress management techniques such as meditation.

Can a life coach help treat anxiety?

Because the majority of life coaches are not licensed clinicians, they are not qualified to diagnose or treat anxiety. Anyone struggling with anxiety or another mental health condition should seek help from a licensed mental health practitioner. However, some coaching clients who struggle with subclinical anxiety report that working with their coach on other problems—such as career dissatisfaction or unhealthy habits—has a positive effect on their anxiety.

Can life coaching be done online?

Yes. While life coaching often happens in person, many coaches conduct sessions over the phone or via online platforms such as Zoom or Skype. Because life coaches are not subject to local licensing regulations in the same way that therapists are, they are able to see clients who live in other locations.

How long does life coaching last?

Life coaching tends to be a shorter-term process than therapy, though it does not always unfold over a specific period of time and is instead based on the coach’s or the client’s preferences. Coaching often takes place over three to 12 months but may be shorter or longer if necessary.
