I received my Masters degree in Social work, with a specialty in Hospital Social Work, from Aurora University in Aurora, IL. I have experience working with wide array of age demographics. I also have additional experience in work with patients suffering from trauma, substance abuse, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, codependency, co-occurring disorders, as well as crisis intervention. My approach to services puts the client at the center of our focus together. I believe that through our work together, we can uncover any underlying or persisting problems that are mentally taking you out of your life.

My name is Allison, but prefer to go by Ally. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, receiving my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Western Illinois University. Marilyn Ferri, MS LCPC received her Masters Degree from Illinois State University in 1994. She is a licensed clinical professional counselor in the State of Illinois with over 25 years of experience working with older teens, emerging adults, older adults, couples, and varying multicultural backgrounds. Marilyn incorporates evidence and research based therapeutic approaches which promote clients' healing processes by using mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, rational emotive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic, and client centered therapeutic approaches.

I believe in the power of self-awareness and taking action. I am passionate in empowering my clients in making intentional choices to improve overall wellness. I have a direct, solution-oriented approach, which aids individuals in addressing problematic behaviors and thought processes which are negatively impacting their life.
