You’ve tried to think your way through your problems—and maybe even found temporary solutions—but something still feels… off. If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone. In a world that often encourages us to stay in our heads, it’s easy to forget that healing is more than just a mental exercise. You may sense that the issues you’re facing run deeper—that they involve your whole self, not just your thoughts. I work with adolescents and adults who are looking to reconnect with that deeper part of themselves and make meaningful change.

*Now accepting new clients.* This practice has been developed to help adults that have experienced some form of trauma, life changing event, or adjustment concern. These experiences don't have to be recent; you just want to address them now to free your mind from the thoughts. Anxiety, depression, and trauma therapy is led through multiple therapy types depending on the client. Through a client/provider collaborative relationship we can choose the best practices to address your concerns in the most time-sensitive way possible. My clients are looking to move past the thoughts they feel have been "hounding" them or holding them back.

My ideal clients are adults, teens, and children who feel stuck by emotions, stress, or transitions they can’t quite name or manage. They might be adults carrying the weight of past experiences or current pressures, longing to feel calmer, more confident, and more in control. Or they may be parents watching their child struggle with anxiety, frustration, or social challenges and feeling unsure how to help. At their core, my clients want to feel understood and supported. They want to build skills to manage big emotions, communicate more effectively, and reconnect with a sense of hope and possibility.

I currently work at my day job with children 5-12, to assist with ADD, Anger, Sexual Abuse, grief etc.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then we will dive into the specific challenges you're facing. I will ask a lot of questions. Some of them may not make the most of sense to you. Some of the questions maybe nosey in your opinion. I am just wanting to gather as much information about you that I can.

I work with individuals and couples who feel stuck, disconnected, or unsure how to express what they need. People come to me when stress, conflict, or old patterns get in the way of feeling close to the people they love. I bring warmth, sincerity, and curiosity as we clarify emotions, strengthen communication, and build more satisfying, supportive relationships.

Many people I work with feel constantly “on edge” — their mind won’t slow down, stress shows up as irritability or avoidance, making it hard to stay focused or follow through even when they care. Others feel behind compared to where they think they should be, despite putting in real effort. Therapy doesn’t have to be vague or endless to be effective. I specialize in working with adults dealing with anxiety and ADHD, using evidence-based approaches that focus on practical change and real-life application.

Anger Management Therapists
How long does therapy take for anger management?
Treatment duration depends on the person’s specific challenges and circumstances. There are treatments for anger problems that are shorter and more goal-oriented, like Cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), which can last weeks to months. Others, like Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) may last between six months and a year, while a more intensive treatment, like psychodynamic therapy, is open-ended, and clients may see their therapist for a year or longer.

How do you know if you need therapy for anger management?
Everyone gets mad from time to time. But when angry outbursts become frequent and cause damage to relationships, whether at home or in the office, it may be a good time to look into therapy. A therapist can assess where a client’s anger may be coming from, suggest strategies for averting angry outbursts, and help a client create a plan to become a calmer version of themselves.

Is there medication for anger management?
Medications do exist that help people mitigate the feeling of anger, but these are reserved for people with anger-related psychiatric disorders, such as intermittent explosive disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, or in some cases borderline personality disorder. In these cases, antidepressant medications may be prescribed to help with the client’s symptoms. In most cases of anger management, however, talk therapy is the recommended treatment, along with lifestyle changes where relevant.

What’s the best way to encourage someone to seek help for anger issues?
It’s helpful to express your concern and love for the person while framing therapy as a tool for improving their life. Offering specific examples of how an individual’s behavior affected either themselves or others should be done with compassion and with empathy. It may be useful to devise a game plan—breaking the process down into parts, such as finding a therapist, making appointments, and looking into insurance coverage.
