My name is Nova M. Griffith and I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, who has a practice in Johnston City, Illinois. Taking care of my patients is my very top priority. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. I have a background in psychological trauma work; having worked in a trauma-informed private practice in North Dakota from 2014 to 2017 and my own practice here for the past five years. Prior to that, I worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs in Marion, Illinois for 10 years specializing in PTSD, depression, anxiety and addictions.

Finding a balance in life can be challenging, these days. In our complex world and demanding lives, we often find ourselves with feelings of stress, anxiety and depression without knowing how to cope. As a psychotherapist, I can help identify the root causes and how to manage them with a full assessment, diagnosis and treatment plan. I don't believe that one therapeutic approach fits all. I take an eclectic approach to therapy. I like to listen to my clients issues, establish a healthy working relationship, and draw from different theories and techniques that are appropriate to meet their needs and improve their quality of life.
