As a dedicated and compassionate therapist, it is my mission to provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals seeking healing and personal growth. My name is Sana Mohiuddin, and I am a licensed therapist specializing in family systems and trauma-focused therapies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) training, combined with an Islamically oriented approach.

I work with adults and couples experiencing traumas, challenging relationships, low self esteem, depression, anxiety, and major life transitions. I offer a safe and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard to explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I also naturally incorporate humor in the healing process which I believe is just as important as empathy and understanding.

Now welcoming new clients from the ages of 12 to 25! I focus exclusively on teens and young adults. Personally, I have found great fulfillment in working with children diagnosed with Autism, which makes me enthusiastic about the opportunity to assist teens and young adults with Autism as well. Additionally, I bring extensive experience in supporting individuals with depression, anxiety, and behavioral disorders.

I provide client-centered therapeutic services to adults 18 years and older. I commonly help with concerns related to anxiety, depression, ptsd, ocd, and addictions. I utilize a flexible, strengths-based approach with a variety of evidence based interventions depending on the unique needs of each individual. I am a seasoned clinician with diverse work experiences. I have worked as a therapist in a residential treatment program specializing in OCD/Anxiety/Substance Abuse, as an outpatient mental health therapist for the Department of Veterans Affairs, and as a case manager working with older adults in community mental health.

I work with clients who experience anxiety, depression, ADHD, obsessive/compulsive behaviors, addiction, life transitions, interpersonal/relationship issues, trauma and more. I use an IFS-informed, eclectic approach that focuses on your relationship with yourself and your mindset so that we can focus on who you are and what you need in an intuitive and compassionate manner.

I use a person-centered approach with each individual that offers a unique space for personal therapeutic growth as well as therapeutic processing.

Precious (she/her/hers) has a Masters of Science in Education with an emphasis in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Trauma Informed Counseling Certificate from Northern Illinois University. Precious operates from an anti-racist/anti-oppressive and multicultural leans to help underserved and marginalized communities. Precious is also LGTBQIA+ affirming and understands the importance of cultural differences within minority communities.

I have extensive experience helping those with depression, anxiety, trauma, and behavioral issues. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who works with individuals, groups, couples, and families. I enjoy working with adolescents and couples. I have a lot of expertise in helping my clients with stress management, self-esteem issues, communication skills, peer conflict, women's issues and men's issues. I believe in building a strong therapeutic relationship and I approach each client individually to determine their course of treatment. I also have a degree in Dietetics and understand the importance of a healthy lifestyle.

When you feel safe and supported, then and only then are you able to let your guard down and get in touch with your core issues and feelings. The most important measure of whether therapy will have a positive outcome is the connection between you and your therapist. For this reason, my goal is to create a warm and supportive environment in which you will be respectfully heard, cared about and not judged in any way.
