I also work with those dealing with the difficulties of eating disorders, anxiety, depression and life transitions. My primary goal is help you feel better quickly, therefore I spend time getting to know you so we can set goals and work on reaching them.

Too often psychotherapy focuses on causality, pathology and cures. However, rather than being "sick" or 'broken", often we are just lost inside ourselves or relationships. Everyone is a unique person with their own story, experience and perspective. The goal of therapy is to achieve a deeper awareness of where we are, to discover internal meaning for our many experiences, and to experience a life worth living. While working towards that awareness, I feel that it's also important to teach healthier coping skills to assist in dealing with the anxiety and day to day stressors that bring individuals to therapy.

My population of focus is young adults -especially women - who are experiencing relational conflict, family discord, childhood or more recent trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, and lifestyle transitions. I also assist individuals who wish to explore LGBTQIA+ identities and gender affirming care.

Ali has spent the past four years working with adults and adolescents/pre-teens with eating disorders and their families. She is passionate about her work with this population and enjoys engaging the whole family system to promote change and recovery. Ali completed her undergraduate training at Michigan State University and received her MA at National Louis University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is currently working towards becoming a Certified Eating Disorder Professional.

Welcome! My name is Caitlin and I'm a clinical psychologist that specializes in cognitive behavioral therapies (CBT), especially in the treatment of anxiety, OCD, depression, and sleep struggles. I provide individual psychotherapy to older teens, young adults, and adults. I work collaboratively with my clients to identify active goals for treatment, with a focus on living a life that is flexible, fulfilling, and guided by one's values.
