My ideal client is someone navigating change—whether they are in the midst of a transition, feeling stuck, or simply seeking support to better understand themselves and move forward. They come to me because they want to feel more grounded, more connected, and more in control of their life. Together, we use a strength-based and psychodynamic approach, uncovering how their past experiences shape who they are today. By making sense of those patterns, we create space for growth and empower them to step into their future with clarity, resilience, and purpose.

My approach is collaborative, and rooted in evidence based modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention ( ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Your brain is exhausted from doing the most: spiraling, overthinking, stressing about crap you can’t control. It’s time to shut down the chaos and start living. Therapy with me is equal parts hype woman/real talk. I'm a licensed clinical social worker in Illinois/Ohio who specializes in OCD, anxiety, trauma, & attachment. I believe healing happens in a space where you can feel fully human without judgement. Therapy should be a meaningful conversation, not just a clinical checklist. As a lifelong musician & artist, I also honor the power of creativity in the healing process, bringing curiosity, humor, and insight into our work.

I love working with clients who are ready to understand themselves more deeply and make real change in their lives. Many of the people I work with are juggling a lot—careers, relationships, parenting, burnout, big life transitions, or the pressure of trying to hold everything together. They are often self-aware and insightful, but still feel anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves. They are not looking for surface-level advice or a quick fix—they want support that helps them feel more grounded, break old patterns, and build healthier ways of coping, communicating, and moving through life.

Relationships are the heartbeat of our emotional lives, influencing how we see ourselves, how we show up for others, and how safe or fulfilled we feel in the world. Every relationship leaves an imprint on our nervous system. Some soothe, some scar—but all shape who we become. My passion lies in helping people understand those imprints and rewrite their story in ways that foster safety, authenticity, and growth. Whether you’re working to heal from trauma or longing for healthier patterns in love, work, or family life, therapy can help you reconnect with your most grounded and empowered self.

With over 9 years of experience, I use evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and ERP, but therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all.
From the outside, does it look like you’re doing okay, but inside, anxiety feels constant, your mind won’t stop looping, or habits that once helped you cope now feel hard to control? Let’s be honest, life can feel pretty overwhelming at times. Maybe you’re stuck in cycles of overthinking, intrusive thoughts, compulsions, or using substances to manage stress, only to feel more overwhelmed. If anxiety, OCD, or addiction is interfering with your life, therapy can help. I work with adults navigating anxiety, OCD, and addiction, offering practical, evidence-based tools to reduce symptoms and understand patterns that keep you stuck.

Together, we create a space that feels both safe & empowering; a space where you can reconnect with yourself and build trust in your ability to grow & heal. I can help you rediscover the parts of yourself that may have been overshadowed by stress, perfectionism, or self-doubt.

Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) Therapists
Do I need exposure and response prevention therapy?
Many clients decide to seek help for obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviors when these symptoms are distressing enough to disrupt everyday life. Any thoughts or behaviors that cause friction in close relationships are also worth addressing. In addition, the client’s symptoms don’t have to be severe for them to benefit from ERP therapy.

Is exposure and response prevention therapy part of cognitive behavioral therapy?
Exposure and response prevention is one specific type of CBT that focuses on behavioral change in response to triggering stimuli. It is related to exposure therapy but adds an additional component of preventing compulsive and harmful responses.

How long does exposure and response prevention therapy take?
While every patient is different, exposure and response prevention therapy typically lasts around 12 sessions, although some treatments can take longer. A therapist will determine if the treatment is complete based on how the client faces their fears, particularly the strongest ones. When a client feels less anxiety about stimuli that once evoked terror or distress, that is generally an indication that they are nearing the end of ERP therapy.

What are the limitations of exposure and response prevention therapy?
The most common pitfalls of exposure and response prevention therapy include not addressing a client’s core fears, allowing the client to avoid their most distressing stimuli, and using imaginary exposure when the client requires real-life exposure (and vice versa). ERP therapy is most effective when the client commits to the full course of treatment; if the client stops early or doesn’t practice what they have learned outside of therapy sessions, they are less likely to have successful outcomes.
