Life can be difficult to navigate—especially when we feel pressured to appear strong while struggling silently inside. Many men carry unspoken burdens of stress, anger, or disappointment, often feeling they must handle it alone. I offer a safe and supportive space for men to speak freely, reflect honestly, and reconnect with their faith as a source of strength and renewal. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, relationship issues, past wounds, or questions about purpose, we’ll work together to restore balance, clarity, and peace.

Do you ever feel like your emotions, relationships, or daily stressors are harder to navigate than they should be — even when you’re doing your best to keep it together? Many people come to therapy feeling burdened by anxiety, depression, school or work pressures, relationship pain, or patterns they can’t quite shift on their own. If you’re longing for a safe, supportive space where your story is truly heard and your strengths are honored, you deserve that kind of support.

The journey called life can be very painful. It has been one of the greatest rewards of my life to see people who have been negatively impacted by relationship issues, depression, anxiety, and other mental health concerns turn their situation around . The power to change our life course, habits, and perceptions sometimes appears to be a never ending struggle. I indeed applaud you for reaching out because it reaffirms that people are not giving up and giving in to their situations.

Areas of focus include but are not limited to: sexual and gender identity, minority issues, racial equity, men's issues, acute/complex trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, poly/kink, sexual health, self-esteem, substance use, life transitions, and loss/grief.
So, you’re contemplating seeking out therapy. Congratulations, it takes a lot of courage to recognize that there are things you may want to explore, change, and/or better understand about yourself, the way you see others, and/or your environment. Finding a therapist you feel comfortable with and trust can be difficult. Painful life experiences, past trauma and current situations can lead you to feel stuck, depressed and anxious. I believe that we all have areas of our life that warrant closer examination. As your therapist, I aim to create an empathic judgement-free space where we can work together to achieve your goals.

Anxiety, depression, burnout, men's issues, sexual addiction or compulsive sexual behaviors, faith-related concerns, and life transitions.
You've held things together for a long time. But something has stopped working, and you're not sure if this is a rough season or something you've been outrunning for years. Is there a part of your life you've accepted as stuck, because you've stopped believing it could be different? Carrying more than you let on, for longer than you should have? I work with people ready to get honest about what isn't working, and willing to move toward a life that actually reflects who they are and what they care about.

Therapy is a place to confront difficult feelings, memories, and experiences, which occurred in the past and how they impact the present. Therapy provides a non-judgmental, curious space in which we can explore your feelings and thoughts in ways that are difficult to do in the fast-paced, 'outside' world.

Whether working with men's issues or adjusting to parenthood, I try to foster a space of emotional safety and curiosity.
I view the therapeutic relationship as a sacred space for inner work and healing. Entering therapy can feel vulnerable, and I honor the courage it takes to bring your struggles, hopes, and fears into this experience. This process can be a powerful turning point, offering a chance to sit with the full experience of being human and use it for growth. I prioritize building a strong, trusting relationship is at the center of my work. I approach therapy with curiosity, warmth, and non‑judgment, and I consider it a privilege to hear the unique stories people carry. I believe deeply in each person’s capacity to learn, evolve, and heal.

Men's Issues Therapists
Is therapy for men different than it is for women?
Therapeutic treatments and types are the same for men as they are for women, with the same protocols followed and the same strategies employed. Discussing one’s feelings and emotions is an integral part of most therapies, and some men find doing so more challenging. Therapists can help clients through the process; some specialize in treating men for this reason.

How do you encourage a man to go to therapy?
It’s helpful to express your concern and love for the person while framing therapy as a tool for improving their life. Offering specific examples of how an individual’s behavior affected either himself or others should be done with compassion and with empathy. It may be useful to devise a game plan—breaking the process down into parts, such as finding a therapist, making appointments, and looking into insurance coverage.

How can men prepare for therapy?
Men can prepare for therapy by approaching the process with an open mind, being willing to talk about their challenges, and giving treatment the time to work. Before a session, an individual may want to reflect on how they’ve felt since the last session and what’s happened in their lives. It can be useful for men who struggle to recall their emotional states to write down notes between sessions about their response to a given event or how they were feeling at a particular time.

What should men know about the process of therapy?
One of the most common reasons men don’t seek therapy is the notion that there’s something wrong with them if they do. Men should know that just because they’re seeking therapy doesn’t mean they’re mentally ill or damaged in some way. In the same way people work on their bodies through exercise or a craft through practice, therapy can be a way to improve the mental and emotional skills needed to be productive and effective partners, employees, and people in all realms of life.
