I completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at Northern Illinois University and a Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology/Argosy University. I have many years of counseling experience from working at community agencies and community colleges. I have worked with ages ranged from very young children to older adults. My work with youth included young children who have experienced trauma or abuse. I have worked with teens whom have experienced a myriad of issues including depression, suicidal ideation, abuse and self-harming behaviors.

I received my Master's Degree (MA) in Counseling Psychology as well as my BA in Psychology from Trinity Christian College. Prior to receiving my degree I worked as a CNA with elderly patients who suffered from Alzheimer's and Dementia. In my undergrad coursework I specialized in working with children and teens with Special Needs, both behavioral and cognitive. My previous counseling experiences have allowed me the chance to work with a variety of diagnoses, cultures and populations in several different settings that include but not limited to; individual, group, inpatient as well as outpatient.

I quickly builds rapport with each client using active listening and validation to provide a warm and caring atmosphere. I meet clients where they are guide them to construct healthier thought processes that lead to a healthier lifestyle. I support adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and more. My approach is relaxed and open, and I am especially skilled at treating trauma in youth and depression in young adults.

Marissa Latko, LCSW, provides a safe place for clients to witness a wide range of feelings, thoughts, and emotions. She meets clients with grace, compassion, and honesty, and aims to help clients identify patterns of thinking that are no longer serving them. Marissa received an MSW from Dominican University and worked in multiple levels of care including outpatient, partial hospitalization, residential, and inpatient. She serves adolescents and adults struggling with depression, mood disorders, PTSD/trauma, eating disorders, and more. Marissa also has extensive experience treating dual diagnosis patients.

Amanda earned her Undergraduate in Psychology and her master's degree in clinical psychology from Governors State University. She is passionate about helping children and adolescents work through trauma, anxieties, and other behavioral challenges they may be experiencing. She believes that therapy should be a safe place that provides unconditional support. Amanda has experience working with children and adolescents in a variety of different settings(in patient, residential, in-home therapy, and therapeutic day schools).

I help clients focus on their strengths and build skills. I meet clients where they are and focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship. I work with clients of all ages, but especially enjoy helping adolescents and young adults struggling with anxiety, depression, and challenges concerning the LGBTQIA+ community. I'm also skilled at helping clients who have suffered from the traumatic loss of a loved one.

Nicole Heniff, LPC, believes therapy should be a place where a person can come and receive unconditional acceptance and healing through a therapeutic relationship. She works to provide that place with a warm, empathetic, and person-centered approach. Nicole received an undergraduate degree from Roosevelt University and a graduate degree in counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She helps children, adolescents, and families struggling with behavioral dysregulation, attachment issues, adjustment problems, developmental and identity issues, parenting skills, and more.

Bridget is a Licensed Social Worker and received her Master’s degree in Social Work from Aurora University. She is experienced in working with individuals with anxiety, depression, substance use, and stress management. Bridget currently works telehealth and virutal appointments only.

I enjoy working with clients of all ages towards their therapeutic goals. After years of experience, I am still in awe of the way clients overcome trauma and hardship. Morissa received an undergraduate degree from Southern Illinois University and an MSW from Walden University. She has over six years of experience in behavioral health, including inpatient hospital settings, residential care, and private practice.
