I’m a therapist who specializes in perinatal issues including postpartum depression and anxiety, adjustment to motherhood/parenthood, intrusive thoughts, infertility, miscarriage, and infant loss. I have training in working with gender-based violence such as sexual assault, rape, and domestic violence. I also have experience assisting clients with anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-harm, and trauma. I have experience working with different genders, sexual orientations, racial/ethnic backgrounds, and socioeconomic status.

Taking steps to get counseling takes a lot of courage. I believe that everyone has their own unique experience and challenges, and that you don't have to go through it on your own. It is my goal to guide you closer to a balanced and happy life. I typically work with adults and adolescents ages 11-17 with anxiety, depression, body image, self-esteem, and coping skills. I am passionate about working with people who are marginalized (BIPOC, LGBTQ+, Women etc.).

To say that change is difficult is an understatement. Sudden changes in life can leave us reeling with losses, or struggling to find ways to cope. In the counseling relationship, I strive to create an environment of compassion and trust – in which clients can work through these difficult emotions while knowing they are supported and heard. My role is to walk alongside the client, centering their unique journey, while helping empower them to achieve their goals.

The ideal client is one that struggles and is actively seeking help. A healthy balance with goals in regards to work/leisure and family/friends is going to be what every person needs. I promote originality and customization for each client because everyone is different. Love, guidance, and acceptance are what we sometimes loose or neglect and all we need is a professional to help.

Living in unprecedented times, it is especially important to have support, awareness, and knowledge of effective coping skills to manage life's stressors. I believe it’s also important to process the lives we’ve already experienced and explore how this cultivates our current worldview.

Hi there, my name is Felicity Dineen. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and I am so excited at the possibility of getting to work along side you. I have extensive experience working with adults and teens struggling with a wide array of life stressors including relationship struggles, anxiety/depression, acceptance of self, grief, trauma, parenting concerns, and perinatal issues. Together, you will overcome challenges both present and in the past to help bring out the strengths within yourself that are already in existence.

I believe that life is a journey, full of joys and disappointments, successes and setbacks. While the extent and nature of my interventions may vary, I strongly believe that all people possess the personal strength and the means to improve their own lives if provided with the necessary guidance and support.

I am passionate about helping children, adolescents, adults, and families through difficult times and supporting them through those times.
