My area of focus is adults looking to improve their mental health. I have a passion for individuals dealing with post-traumatic stress, low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, and other issues. My hope is to use the uplifting power of music to break down walls and create something beautiful out of the pain.

My name is Maria (or Marysia); I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have experience working with a variety of populations in a variety of settings, ranging from residential/restorative to outpatient. I have 10+ years of experience addressing a variety of challenges, including depression, anxiety, grief, religious trauma, and relationship challenges. I believe in positive self-awareness and that as a person thinks they become so I educate clients on the ancient science of "know thyself. " PEMS holistic approach uses meditation, affirmations, evidence-based practices, and energy healing tools and techniques. I work with the military population, individuals, groups, couples, children, adults and elderly on lifes transitions.

I provide telehealth sessions for clients in Illinois and Missouri. In my practice, I support clients who are looking for perspective and guidance to fully realize their wellness goals. My practice supports anyone who is looking to explore a new role, identity, or challenging life situation, especially caregivers, parents, and older adults. I have special expertise in dementia/cognitive impairment, caregiving, and long-term care.

We work with a variety of clients, and because we are a group practice with diverse experience and niches, we have someone for everyone! We see clients 18 and older and some providers will see kids and youth! Ideal clients for us are those looking for telehealth services or those who are needing services in their home because they are homebound (or seniors living in long-term care communities). We enjoy working with clients are who self-motivated and will work with issues with either acute or chronic issues. We do have a few providers that see clients in-office in Belleville, IL.

Brittany Helmich is a LCPC and CADC. She attained her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Blackburn College and her Master's Degree in Clinical Adult Psychology from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville.
