My work with clients is Person-Centered, exploring how past life experiences can affect our present behavior, coping style and choices. I use a Mindfulness-based approach, believing each person thrives when they experience a non-judgmental and compassionate acceptance as they work through the challenges they face. I am also an EMDR trained clinician.
My 30 year background in Nursing lends a deep understanding when working with clients faced with the challenge of living with life-changing, chronic illness. I also work with Caregivers whose stress often goes unnoticed and, as research shows, can lead to a decrease in both physical and psychological wellbeing.
