I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 15 years of experience helping people cope with family and social issues. I work with many concerns, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, ADHD, stress management, school-related matters, and career challenges. The modalities I use include Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, and Strength-based Therapy. I believe in providing a safe space for clients to be vulnerable and explore solutions to complex concerns and issues.

I enjoy working with clients who are having difficulty dealing with anxiety, depression, and posttraumatic stress as well as clients who feel lost and are questioning the purpose of life. I like to help clients learn what their true values are and how to live in line with them. Clients who have expressed grief over their childhood but are struggling with validation of their feelings may say things like "but I was never hit". My journey has taken me through a variety of messes…divorce, single parenting, job changes, remarriage and the blending of families, just to name a few. Although this isn’t the path that I planned to take, I am thankful for each step because of the healing and growth that accompanied it and ultimately led me to pursue my master’s degree in family and marriage therapy.
