I provide psychotherapy to individuals and couples, specializing in adults and teens. Clients come to me with problems such as anxiety issues, depression, marital stress, relational abuse, job stress and past sexual abuse . I have also worked with men suffering from anger problems. The preferred style is one of a partnership, with agreed upon goals, going at a pace that is comfortable and appropriate for the client. I care about each individual and work toward helping them find the road to wholeness and healing

I believe that most people go through something difficult in their lives and need help moving through the resulting pain that they feel. My goal is to make you feel safe, comfortable, and connected to me while we do our work together. I am a trauma informed therapist who works with a variety of clients and client issues. My work includes anxiety, depression, complex trauma, substance use, parenting, and life transitions in adolescents and adults. I am person-centered and believe that sessions should be focused on the needs of the client.

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), National Certified Counselor and a fully trained Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist . I received my Master of Arts/Science degree from Roosevelt University. I specialize in Trauma, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD),anxiety, depression, addictions, fears, guilt and a range of life adjustment issues. I work with individuals to help make sense of the past to understand and neutralize the negative influence it has on present functioning and relationships. By clearing up the "debri" from the past, we can fully focus on being our best in the present and future.

Welcome! We are a small, private, multi-clinician practice. I am a supervising clinical psychologist, and am passionate about helping people overcome obstacles in their lives, particularly those stemming from traumatic experiences and events. These can include (but are not limited to) toxic relationships, divorce, car accidents, loss of a loved one, abuse/neglect (physical, sexual, verbal or emotional), domestic violence and secondary trauma.

Often in life, we don't feel seen or heard by the world around us. Therapy should be a space where you can explore your authentic self, or find the tools you need to self-actualize into that person. I work with adolescents, adults and older adults seeking individual treatment, focusing on trauma, mood disorders and anxiety, with other focuses on the LGBTQIA+ community, body liberation, kink, and CNM/open relationships. My job, as I see it, is not to fix you, but to help you fix yourself. To do that, I help you find the tools you already have and remind you that - on some deep level - you already know how to use them. My approach is cognitive, because I believe the way we think about our lives helps create them.
