My experience in social services consists of 20+ years of growth, first as a case manager and Social Svc. Director prior to licensure, then clinical experience as a child and family therapist in community mental health, an LCSW in an small group practice, and now my own practice since February 2016. I have extensive knowledge working with people living with grief/loss, Childhood trauma, Depression, Anxiety/Panic disorders, PTSD, ADHD, Bipolar disorder, and Personality disorders. I am experienced and passionate about working with First Responders, Military, Medical Professional, and anyone that has had traumatic experiences.

Our experienced team of therapists has been helping clients achieve their best self, better relationships, and a more balanced life since 2012. The more common struggles we help clients overcome are anxiety and depression, trauma and PTSD, relationship problems, and parenting challenges. If you have been wrestling with these or other issues, we are here to help. We work with older kids (8+), adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Most of our therapists are EMDR trained (EMDRIA approved) and also use other effective approaches including CBT, DBT, and systemic approaches.

I am a LCSW with over 24 years of clinical experience working with adults, adolescents, families and couples in a variety of settings including hospitals, residential facilities, outpatient clinics, wilderness programing and private practice. I specialize in the areas of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), family systems model, substance abuse treatment and experiential therapy. I also hold a unique specialty in the area of intensive trauma work as an ITR Certified Trauma Specialist.

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a Master's Degree from Lewis University. My background encompasses many different areas to include the mental health field, educational academic and career performance, corporate business and training, and EAP. I have 11 years in K-12 and higher education counseling and teaching experience as well as over 15 years in corporate business. My passion and vast experience in all of these settings and now within the clinical mental health setting for almost 7 years is how I thrive to assist all individuals in achieving complete satisfaction and success in all aspects of life!

Sometimes we struggle to feel a sense of belonging or feel consumed with negative thoughts and emotions. Maybe it’s our past that is keeping us from being in the present moment or it’s adding to our overall stress.
