I believe it takes a tremendous amount of courage to seek therapy, and I seek to honor and respect this effort in every session through a collaborative process. During our work together, my mission is to work as a team as exploration of difficult thoughts, memories, and feelings arise. My hope is for clients to feel they can be their authentic selves while reflecting on their strengths and bringing awareness to their vulnerabilities and needs through a non-judgmental approach. I have extensive training in working with adults with a special interest in working with first responders, as well as other clinicians, and veterans.

Finally, as a veteran, I am acquainted with concerns of present/former military personnel.
Even without a crisis, one can still be troubled: "I know what to do to make my life better. But it's hard for me to move on things. . . I always felt that I loved everyone I live with. But now I'm not so sure. . . I am trying to stay in my job until I get Social Security. But I don't know if I can bear eight more years of misery." Thoughts like the above are common. Sometimes, we can confine them to a few moments. Beyond that, they can drain us. Unfortunately, there are risks in confiding these thoughts to those we care about. The risks in disclosing them to a therapist are less. Afterall, they will not benefit from your choices.

I see ages 10 and older, military, first responders, and providers, and specialize in psych and neuropsych testing.
Currently accepting new patients. I believe each person has an innate capacity for growth and self-awareness just waiting to be explored. If you are navigating challenging life transitions, a blend of personal and professional challenges, have relationship issues, dealing with feelings of uncertainty, self-doubt, lack of fulfillment in various aspects of your life, or perhaps on a quest for a deeper sense of self-discovery, an existential-integration approach may provide a collaborative and compassionate space for you to reflect upon your experiences, gain clarity about your values, and deepen your understanding of yourself.

I’m passionate about helping individuals and families with military ties, struggling with racial, immigration or cultural issues, interracial couples, assisting with launching, premarital concerns and counseling as well as women’s issues.
In order to improve our lives, we need to improve our perspectives. This means stepping out of our comfort zones and adding new beneficial experiences and learning better ways to navigate the ever changing world around us. It is courageous to want to confront our current mode of thinking, and as a therapist, I am genuinely excited to provide a safe and welcoming environment to help guide those choosing to do so.
