I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, OCD, panic, ADHD, and low self-esteem.
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stuck in patterns you can’t seem to change, or weighed down by self-doubt— You don’t need to figure it all out on your own. I offer evidence-based therapy rooted in compassion, curiosity, and collaboration. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling exhausted by their inner critic, unsure how to manage emotions, or afraid their fears will always be in control. Together, we’ll make sense of what’s going on, clarify what matters most to you, and build the skills to move through discomfort with greater confidence and self-trust.

In relationships, you may feel disconnected or misunderstood, wishing for deeper communication and closeness. My ideal clients often describe feeling “stuck” - knowing they want change, but unsure how to create it. They long for a safe, authentic space to explore their inner world, gain clarity, and build the confidence to live in alignment with their values.

You’re the queen of high expectations— polished on the outside, but tense on the inside. You hold yourself to impossible standards: be perfect, be productive, be liked. Meanwhile, the overthinking, self-doubt, and burnout just keep building. How do you quiet that relentless inner critic? How do you succeed without the stress? That’s where we come in. At our practice, we help ambitious women trade anxiety for clarity, confidence, and calm... all while keeping their goals intact.

2) Effective treatment for anxiety and OCD.
People are not their diagnoses even though these labels can sometimes be informative. I prefer to get to know you. Specifically, what do you want out of therapy? What is currently working for you, not working? What brings you in to see me in this moment? Therapy is not only about reducing our suffering, but also finding meaning and fulfillment in our lives. It is about getting to know ourselves, parts that we love, parts that we are afraid of, parts that we don't yet understand. People are also not things that need to be "fixed", instead, this is a place for healing, self-compassion, and growth.

I work with adults experiencing depression, complex trauma, OCD, anxiety, grief/loss, and life transitions.
When I think of mental wellbeing, I think of community, creativity, play, curiosity, and integrity. Using a decolonization framework, my approach is guided by context and connection, and recognizing how we relate to ourselves, each other, and the world around us. I strive to promote self-awareness, self-agency, and transformation, while walking alongside clients with a gentle nudge. We can find the right pace for building physical and emotional safety, to feel grounded and present. When supporting individuals with some heavy realities, I also see the importance of sharing moments of lightness and humor while building together.

I have experience supporting individuals through anxiety, OCD, depression, self esteem/ self confidence and relationship troubles.
Hello! Therapy can be an intimidating step sometimes, but I’m so impressed that you are prioritizing your health and taking this next step. I started my career as a school counselor before transitioning over to private practice. I made the switch so that I could spend more time working with the client on the goals at hand, and to develop the therapeutic relationship. My goal is for all clients to feel safe and comfortable. I strive to create a space that is led by compassion, understanding and inclusion. You can also expect an environment that is free of judgement, or shame, where diversity is celebrated.

Our perspective is that everyone's life has a story, and therapy is a way to identify and change that story to fit with your goals and values. Seeking therapy can be difficult, and we enjoy supporting people in finding their narrative and re-writing it the way they desire to fit their needs. As strength-based and client-centered therapists, we believe that meeting people where they are enables them to feel at ease and supported in the process. Helping others identify their innate strengths and using them is a large part of my philosophy. We are an anti racist practice and pride ourselves on being able to serve BIPOC populations.

Obsessive-Compulsive (OCD) Therapists

How long does OCD treatment take?

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is often treated on a weekly or twice-weekly schedule, depending on symptom severity and the client’s preferences. Some clients may start to see a noticeable improvement in symptoms in as little as six weeks, but it’s also possible, especially in more severe cases, for treatment to take several months to a year before significant progress is made.

What happens if OCD is not treated?

Some people with OCD, especially those with mild symptoms, may find that they are able to adapt reasonably well to life with the condition, even if their symptoms never resolve completely. However, many people, particularly those whose symptoms are severe at the outset, find that their obsessions and compulsions grow more intrusive with time, making it harder to maintain relationships, hold down a job, or navigate the world successfully.

Are there medications for OCD?

Medication can be used to treat OCD. The class of drugs most often prescribed are selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, or SSRIs, which include fluvoxamine (under the brand name Luvox), fluoxetine (Prozac), and sertraline (Zoloft), among others. In cases of treatment-resistant OCD, other classes of medication, such as tricyclic antidepressants or atypical antipsychotics, may be prescribed. Medication is frequently used in conjunction with therapy.

Can OCD come back after treatment?

Yes. Major life transitions, periods of stress, or other factors can cause symptoms to return or, if they were never fully eradicated, to ramp back up in intensity. For some, these relapses are brief and do not require additional treatment; identifying specific triggers and practicing the skills learned in therapy can help speed their course. For others, returning to therapy for a brief period can help address the underlying stress and strengthen coping mechanisms.
