Modern life presents a number of challenges for adults and families. It can be difficult to balance all of the conflicting demands, especially if we are also trying to care for others or carrying the weight of past traumas or other unresolved issues. This can lead to increasing symptoms of depression, anxiety, and anger, and can interfere with the relationships we value and need. None of us are perfect, but we all deserve the chance to live a life consistent with our values and goals.

I believe that the stories we tell ourselves have a profound impact on the choices we make, the limits we place on ourselves, and the ways we respond to our experiences. Many of these stories were authored by someone else, created in times that no longer match the realities of the present, or have been repeated so many times that we consider them facts. With compassion, curiosity, and humor, I’ll work with you to uncover the stories that may no longer be serving you.
