NEW May 2026! I'm an AASECT certified sex therapist and specialize in intimacy issues and relationships. I have ADHD myself and many of my clients happen to be neurodivergent as well, so that's become a secondary specialty. I'm naturally a systems thinker, so I'll look at how all areas of your world and your perspective are impacting you. I'm trained as a meditation instructor as well as a health coach, so I bring a mind-body-spirit approach. It's all one system!

Grief, loss, and change challenge us to renegotiate – in our bodies, in our thoughts – earlier and similar transformations in our lives, stirring up difficult emotions, thoughts, images, and bodily experiences. In our work together, I will attend with integrity to whatever expressions of body, mind, and heart that arise. In this work that requires patience of us both, I will help you to discover and connect the elements of your own unconscious, history, desires, associations, leading to a genuine – even transformative – development of your own psychological, spiritual, and embodied personal narrative.

Relationship issues can hijack your life. Dysfunctional romantic and family relationships, demanding bosses, inappropriate coworkers, weird friends, or complicated roommates can all be the kinds of relationships that isolate us; affect our sleep, appetites, and focus; and stir up BIG feelings. Breaking up, even if it's the right thing to do, can turn our lives upside down while we feel pressure on us to “just move on already,” when we are grieving. Sometimes we are having a hard time grieving loved ones who have died. Difficult relationships can also cause collateral damage to your relationship with yourself.

Over the course of 20 sessions, we learn all about what is happening in your body and brain, learn and practice coping skills to manage anxiety related to your chronic medical condition, and have the option to complete hypnotherapy for chronic illness as well.
If you have never done therapy before, or if you have found that your current therapist doesn’t quite “get it,” and you’re hoping to work with someone that has an intimate knowledge of chronic illness and hospital systems, then you will be a great fit.

Life can bring great challenges, and also incredible joys. Sometimes the challenges can feel overwhelming. In difficult times, it's critical to create a solid emotional foundation to allow you identify your path. My goal as a clinician is to restore balance when you are struggling with tough emotions, or a difficult situation. I believe that as with physical pain, emotional pain is a clear message that something in your life needs attending to. By taking time to reflect and heal, you can regain a sense of clarity, purpose and peace.
