As a Latina woman, I care deeply about making therapy accessible and inclusive.
You may be feeling pulled in many directions, carrying stress, or unsure about the choices ahead. Maybe past experiences still affect you, or you want space to reflect on who you are and where you’re going. What you want is clarity, support, and the confidence to create a life that feels like your own.

In addition, I’m a Hispanic woman; this makes me feel connected with minority groups who I love working with.
Sometimes we encounter challenges that exceed our limits and could lead us to experience distress. I consider myself a generalist and enjoy working with a variety of different concerns. I’m particularly passionate about working with folks who need support with ADHD, neurodiversity, OCD, anxiety, life transitions, trauma, body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs - skin picking, hair pulling, nail biting), and sleep issues. I'm also particularly drawn to communication and relational issues and well-versed in supporting the LGBTQIA+ community. I want to walk with you through these challenges and support you in your healing process.

My belief that all people deserve meaningful opportunity and satisfaction in life defined my 15-year career helping adolescents, young adults, adults, families, and parents overcome barriers to wide range of goals. I serve clients with a variety of needs stemming from disability, depression, anxiety, trauma, parenting/caregiver roles, family of origin, substance use, and vocational exploration. I see value in finding meaning in difficult life experiences to inform new ways of understanding ourselves and engaging others, and I believe people benefit most when equipped with the tools, knowledge, and care to author their own stories.

In a world seemingly determined to strip us of our joy, community, and humanity, I
believe that pursuing fulfillment and happiness in our lives is a radical act. My approach in
therapy and my own life has been characterized by a good sense of humor and a strong
imaginative spirit. While my current training is focused on relational work with families and
couples, I approach all people with the knowledge that no one exists in a vacuum, and the
ecosystem of your relationships can have a deeply profound impact on how you present yourself in your daily life.

There’s a kind of pain that’s easy to ignore—until you can’t anymore. Maybe you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure why part of you still doesn’t feel safe. These aren’t flaws—they’re signs of a nervous system that learned to survive.
What would it be like to feel safe within yourself? To assert healthy boundaries? To have an inner voice rooted in self-compassion? Therapy won’t erase what you’ve experienced, but it can lessen its hold. It can give language to what once felt unspeakable. Together, we can explore how your past lives on in your present-day experiences, relationships, and beliefs.

As a first-generation Mexican-American, I enjoy working with first-generation adults, helping them understand the difficulties of living in two worlds and navigating with your needs vs those of their parents.
How many times do we talk to our families, friends, partners, etc., and never actually feel seen, heard, or understood by them? This could be a very lonely feeling for anyone which can lead to more symptoms of depression, anxiety, or other life challenges.
Therapy is a place where you can understand yourself and others without judgement or fear. My role as your therapist would be to support you in navigating your life challenges with kindness and empathy.
