I am a queer South Asian therapist who is focused on creating an authentic space for you to heal and grow. As a second-generation immigrant, I understand the stigma and trepidation that comes with getting mental healthcare. I strive to create a space where you can be seen and heard without judgment. Together, we will work to identify challenges related to trauma, cultural background, depression, anxiety, and lack of fulfillment in your life.

You've been holding a lot- quietly, and carefully! Maybe you’re trying to move through the various challenges along your fertility, pregnancy, postpartum journey, or the transition to parenthood; navigating life between cultures, or facing a transition that’s left you unmoored. I work alongside couples and individuals who are often carrying the invisible weight of cultural expectations, anxiety, self-doubt and are looking for a space where they can feel seen and supported without having to explain the “why.” I offer a warm, culturally attuned space to help you reconnect with yourself and move toward relief, clarity and healing.

As a queer, second-generation Indian-American, I felt and internalized the pressure of doing well and excelling while simultaneously struggling with not fitting in and not understanding why. One ADHD burnout and late diagnosis later, it became clear why I often felt like I was fighting my own brain without any support or understanding. I remember how isolating it can feel and strive to help provide support for those with similar struggles. I’m passionate about supporting clients who have experienced circumstances navigating identity, internalized messages, expectations, and the transition into adulthood.

My ideal client may feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or stuck in patterns that no longer feel helpful. They often appear capable on the outside while feeling anxious, self-critical, or disconnected internally. They’re seeking a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where they don’t have to have everything figured out. I work collaboratively to support deeper self-understanding, build resilience, and navigate life’s challenges at a pace that feels safe. Whether addressing a specific concern or seeking ongoing support, I’m here to walk alongside you throughout the healing process.

Starting therapy is a big step and I would welcome the opportunity to work with you. Life can be rewarding and filled with happiness but at times it can be hard to focus on the positives. This does not mean that they do not exist or be created. My educational degree and work background working in various facilities that help people struggling with mental health issues has equipped me in being able to assist you in navigating through the issues that are leading you to seek therapy. I want to help you see that you can control your emotions and thoughts, and that changing them into healthier ones can lead you to feel more fulfilled.

I think I work best with clients whose goals are both large and realistic: working with depth enough for deep healing and growth, but with an eye to the practical, and with clear communication back and forth. Clients who need to tackle embarrassing, painful and difficult issues may appreciate my gently direct, understanding and non-judgmental approach. Those who have been frustrated with cookie-cutter approaches may appreciate my close listening, collaboration, and inventiveness based on extensive training and experience. I find I work well with a variety of symptoms and presenting problems in adults, children and relationships.

Therapy can be a space to make sense of the past, make goals for the future, or problem-solve challenges as they arise. I use a strengths-based, solution-focused approach to help clients identify their needs and explore their potential. I believe as we turn our focus inward and ground ourselves, we find empowerment and clarity. The cornerstone of my practice is empathy for my clients, and I feel that change happens when there is a strong and supportive therapeutic relationship.

I believe therapy is advocacy. I want therapy to be a space where my clients can learn about themselves, rest, and when they are ready, advocate for changes that move them towards their best life. I find that those of us with numerous marginalized identities have already been advocating for ourselves our whole life. However, we shouldn’t have to do this alone. This is why I'm particularly interested in working with those of us who are at the intersection of numerous marginalized identities, including BIPOC, LGBTQ+ immigrants, South Asians, first- and second-generation immigrants, college students, LGBTQ+ young adults, and adults.

You’ve done the work already—books, podcasts, maybe even therapy. Yet something still isn’t clicking. The same patterns show up: disconnection from yourself, tension in relationships, overthinking, self-sabotage, or the sense you’re not fully living the life you’re capable of. Anxiety, trauma, sexuality or identity questions, OCD, ADHD, autism, and shame can keep these cycles going. At Noble Path Counseling we do deeper work—helping you understand what’s happening beneath the surface and offering concrete guidance to shift those patterns for good. No Bandaids – Real Healing. Call, text, or email to connect.

You’ve worked hard to meet cultural expectations, family obligations, and your own high standards, but it’s left you running on empty. On the outside, you look dependable and successful. Inside, you feel anxious, overextended, or weighed down by self-doubt. Perfectionism and people-pleasing may be driving your choices, leaving little space for rest or authenticity. You may feel torn between who you are and who others expect you to be, wondering if it’s possible to slow down and finally feel calm, confident, and at ease in your life.

Life is a heroic endeavor with many obstacles along the way. Each of us experiences and responds to events in our lives using various coping behaviors; including activities that make us feel better and activities that make us feel worse. All of our behaviors develop because they were successful at keeping us alive through our experiences. Problems may arise when we continue using these safety behaviors—which are often developed during our childhood—throughout later phases of our life. These survival skills may have worked in the past, but now they are leading to problematic outcomes.

It is inevitable that life is challenging and often times, we feel stuck and need reminders that we are not alone. As a psychotherapist, I understand that each client has a unique story of their own and that each client deserves tailored and individualized care. We will start by establishing what goals you would like to achieve in therapy and will then create a treatment plan collaboratively. I tend to pull from your strengths and values, and will work with you to unpack unhelpful thinking patterns and maladaptive behaviors and will explore alternative coping skills that will be more sustainable for you in the long run.
