Or have you thought, when will I get over this? I'm tired of having flashbacks, feeling "on edge" and restless nights. Perhaps you've considered "OK, now what?" after the divorce, unexpected loss, new job, a recent diagnosis, infidelity, or navigating this space of uncertainty and pandemic related changes. Whether it's a relational struggle, figuring out your happiness, exploring your faith and everything else in between, you do have a choice in creating the life you desire!

I have over 15 years of experience working with individuals, families, and children struggling with trauma , stress, life transitions and mental health disorders.
Do you ever feel like the support of your family and friends is not enough? You don't have to be diagnosed with a mental health disorder to benefit from therapy. Many people turn to therapy for help with everyday life issues: relationship problems, anxiety, and self-doubt. Others seek therapy during difficult times such as sexual abuse and grief. In order to reap the benefits of therapy it's important that you choose the right therapist- someone you can trust, who makes you feel valued with the experience to help you overcome emotional challenges and make changes for the better in your life.

I specialize in working with teens, young adults, those in the LGBTQIA+ community, and religious trauma .
Imagine you're carrying a backpack up a hill; it's heavy, the weight of the backpack pulling down unnaturally on your shoulders. You're uncomfortable, tired, and unable to enjoy the beautiful scenery around you. Can you imagine the relief of that backpack becoming lighter? Emptying unnecessary contents and keeping only the items that are most helpful for your journey. Whether you're a parent looking for guidance on supporting your child, a queer person looking for help in understanding your identity, or someone in need of handling your mental health, I want to be the person who helps empty and organize that proverbial backpack.

Trauma and PTSD Therapists
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a psychological reaction that occurs after an extremely stressful event, such as physical violence or military combat. Those suffering from PTSD have recurring memories of the stressful event and are anxious or scared even in the absence of danger. Flashbacks and nightmares are common symptoms as well.
