My approach to therapy is integrative and is relationally focused. My lens is existential and focused on finding meaning in what seems to be an increasingly chaotic, meaningless world of information overload, technology, climate change, and social unrest. I believe that mental health goes beyond alleviating symptoms and that we have the capacity to experience greater joy, creativity, meaning, and fulfilling relationships in life. I have interest and experience working with those who identify as LGBTQ+, first-generation college students, and issues of grief, trauma, burnout, loneliness, isolation, career and life transitions.
Doing the work it takes to find the right therapist when your mind and heart are struggling and in need of that help takes an enormous amount of strength and hope. As a highly experienced clinical social worker, my goal is to bring my wide-range of experience with therapeutic modalities and diverse populations to capitalize on your strengths and hope. I work from a humanistic, trauma-informed and strengths-based perspective. While I have experience ranging from counseling people living with varying degrees of mental illness, to refugees from conflict zones, and survivors of Queer hate motivated violence.
Are you struggling with emotions, career, relationships, or chronic pain, but not sure how to move forward? As we've all experienced through the pandemic to certain degrees; life events can be unexpected, overwhelming, and traumatic. You deserve space to process what brings you to therapy with a professional who can validate your experiences and commit to working with you, at your pace, to develop solutions. I work from a culturally-aware, trauma-informed perspective to ensure that you feel seen and heard, and offer Art Therapy. Non-judgmental by nature, I collaborate with clients by building on strengths to overcome challenges.
I am a therapist who works with adults who are looking to make sense out of the mentally draining clutter and confusion building up in your thoughts and mind. My goal is to help you find balance in your thought-life through an increase of self-awareness and initiate practical steps towards the life you want to see. I believe therapy works best when there can be collaboration between the therapist and client to create an environment where you can be honest about your needs and desires, heal from your experiences, and explore your feelings without guilt or pressure to perform or be accepted.
Sometimes we struggle with unhealthy patterns, feel lost in the shuffle, & are less able to cope. People need a safe place to process relationship problems, work on making changes, or grasp tools to deal with life's stressors. We store so much of our emotional past within our physical bodies; together, we will learn to release that energy and become more present. My therapy style is warm, collaborative, and sexuality and gender-affirming. Since 2009, I have helped many people take the steps to turn pain into growth and regain control of their lives.
Are you a person of faith who also identifies as gay (LGBTQ+) or same-sex attracted? Are you looking for a trauma therapist who's passionate about working with teens and young adults who have experienced trauma? My life's work is focused on teens and young adults who are exploring their faith and sexual identity and who are recovering from past trauma. Common symptoms are anxiety, depression, and PTSD. My goal is always to walk with my clients to find freedom, fulfillment, and an integrated identity. I love getting to know my clients - being entrusted with your story is an honor to me.
My clients experience me as nurturing, grounded, relatable, and professional which combined can create a safe space and therapeutic environment. I believe that therapy should be enjoyable, and I like to bring a sense of humor to sessions when appropriate, but when it comes to more serious issues, I pride myself on being an active non-judgmental listener and a compassionate ally.

We are all works in progress and the world around us can steer us in the wrong direction. I strive to work with my clients to find the most rewarding path and the healthiest balance of one’s needs, through learning more about oneself, others, and the world around us. It is essential to find a therapist that makes you feel validated, respected, and acknowledged by honoring your intersectional identities. As such, I strive to embody this in the therapeutic approaches that I use with my clients to uniquely address their presenting concerns.
My services are completely client focused. Depending on the client's needs, my goal is to help my client address unresolved trauma that is currently affecting their daily life, provide brief symptom focused treatment, provide life coaching and assist client in setting life goals and setting them on the path to achievement.

Hello, I hope this finds you well. I use a Gestalt informed approach incorporating mindfulness and body based therapy. I believe therapy is a collaborative creation specifically tailored to you. My role is to create a safe space for us to explore and gain insight while fostering empowerment. Together we will experientially explore the inner self in order to identify pattern behaviors, work through past traumas, listen to the body’s messages about what you need in order to heal and create new strategies for change. Let me help you clear away the clutter so that we can replant you and nourish you on fertile ground.
The triggers are everywhere. That picture, that sound, that smell, that kind of touch, that kind of human…Ugh! They bring you back to the bad place just when you thought you were doing better. A lot is messed up. People aren't taking responsibility for what they did to you. Maybe you don't want to hurt them by telling them what happened. Either you get “too needy” or “too distant” in relationships. It's hard to express what you want and need from others. Depression and trauma stop you from doing what's important to you. You were left to clean the aftermath of something that hurt a lot and you can't ignore it anymore.

If you're not living the life you love, lets talk about it. I work with highly ambitious, driven people whose lives seem to be going well on the outside – but privately, they're in pain. My clients may also experience lack of focus and procrastination. The cause may be evident or waiting to be discovered. Either way, something needs to be addressed in order to fully blossom, and my clients are willing to do the work to address it.
I strive to create a space in therapy that is warm, welcoming, and safe and that will allow individuals of all ages to evolve and grow into their best selves.
