My approach is primarily based in person centered and post-modern techniques, including solution focused and narrative therapy.
I am a psychotherapist, LCPC; graduate from St. Xavier University with a masters in clinical community counseling. I received my clinical training within the psychiatry department at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Over the past twelve years I have engaged in outreach work with individuals experiencing a range of chronic mental illness including psychotic spectrum disorders mood spectrum disorder; and anxiety disorders. My clients appreciate honest, non-judgmental feedback and are able to gain self-awareness and insight, while working collaboratively to create and accomplish treatment goals.
