Perhaps you have been having difficulty trying to manage your symptoms. Maybe you struggle with depressed or anxious feelings and troubling thoughts. You may at times feel overwhelmed or paralyzed by what you are experiencing. You might even have difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep because your mind has once again been hijacked by troubling thoughts. Try as you might, you have not been able to obtain much relief from these symptoms and feel it is time to call a professional to help.
Licensed clinical psychologist providing individual therapy to adults with anxiety, OCD, depression, relationship problems, adjustment difficulties, grief/loss, and other concerns. Integrative approach using cognitive-behavioral, acceptance and commitment, and psychodynamic therapies. I may integrate brainspotting or IFS. I also treat couples.
My treatment style is collaborative in nature. I understand that change is sometimes hard for people even when it may be for the better. People learn to navigate the world and cope in particular ways. However, these ways may no longer work well. Therapy allows for a team approach to learning new ways to cope with and manage life's difficulties.
