Counselor, MSEd, LCPC, LPHA
I am a nurturing and strength-based therapist who treats
trauma and PTSD
, anxiety, depression, self-harm, abuse, foster care/adoption issues, communication/social skill building, self-esteem, and attachment-related issues through uses of
-informed therapy, EMDR, play therapy, sand tray, mindfulness, movement, CBT, and other evidence-based practices.
I work with a variety of clients including children, adolescents, adults and families, and have worked as a therapist in the Rockford area for the past decade in child welfare, early prevention, school counseling, and as a
-focused counselor and educator. I enjoy working with clients who want additional support overcoming issues and learning more about themselves, how they respond to stress, and would like additional support and empowerment to try to not only identify patterns of thinking and behavior that aren't working for them anymore, but also want to heal themselves and try new ways of thinking and living life.
