Sometimes, it can be a challenge to see "the forest through the trees." Having someone to talk to who is outside your circle of family and friends, to reflect back what's important to you, can be the crucial piece that helps you build the bridge back to yourself. This is one aspect of what I do when working with people interested in creating improved health, positive relationships, or achieving an important goal. If you are struggling with depression or anxiety, or wanting to discover your specific formula for happiness, I'd consider it a privilege to work with you.

I enjoy working with people open to reflecting on their issues and sincere about wanting to grow and change. We all at times find that we want to be more objective in our relationships and in our reactions to the challenges that confront us. I find satisfaction in helping people foster their capacity to overcome frustration, sadness, anxiety and fear. Often painful experiences in life cause us to respond in subjective ways, which only adds to and reinforces our frustration and alienation. I hope to build a trusting relationship with you that will enable you to feel more free spirited.

It’s time for a change. “You, he said, are a terribly real thing in a terribly false world, and that, I believe, is why you’re in so much pain" (Autumn).

My clients and I together create an environment that honors their own experience and wisdom. Therapy can provide not only the understanding that supports change, but the tools to prepare you to live with more confidence, strength and compassion.
