My experience supporting and guiding clients through theses life experiences has taught me that what we can usually expect to find beneath these presenting behaviors can be a mix of anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, betrayal, trauma and stress. Mr. Alexander Sotirov is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the Roosevelt University. He is fluent in Bulgarian and English, and can provide translating services. Alexander provides individual therapy and couple’s counseling. He specializes in depression, anxiety, PTSD and ADHD. It is important to Alexander to develop rapport with his clients in order for them to feel comfortable sharing life experiences.

I have been a certified private practitioner since 1987. I believe in having a warm, friendly, and open approach to well-being. I have extensive experience with children, adolescents, adults, older adults, couples and families. One area of expertise is with special education and special needs children. I am certified as both a school social worker and a principal. Another area of expertise is with the caregivers of both older adults and children with disabilities.
