For 39 years, I have been passionate about helping people find freedom from personal struggles of depression, anxiety and marriage/ family problems. I treat first with natural alternatives rather than medications. I also specialize in Attention Deficit Disorder and I am a parent of an adult child with ADHD. I personally know the challenges and victory in helping someone with ADHD live their life successfully. I am viewed as the Sherlock Holmes doctor since I work with the most difficult to diagnose cases and help to crack the case of what is causing a person to struggle.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois and a certified Perinatal Mental Health Clinician (PMH-C). I have a background in school social work and the treatment of trauma, anxiety disorders, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorders, and much more in the inpatient and outpatient settings. In addition to my work at Crescent Moon, I also work at Northwestern Medicine in a nationally-renowned program that specializes in maternal mental health. I provide mental health services and coordinate care with OBGYN's and other mental health providers for pregnant and postpartum individuals.

My idea of an ideal client is one who is brave enough to ask for help. We are not born with innate problem solving skills in all areas of life. Every one of us is unique and have different experiences and outlooks on life. When there is a lack of cohesion in ones life or struggles in relationships, emotional issues, we may need to reach out to a professional for guidance. Even clients who are less than cooperative or unwilling to engage in therapy can be helped with a good therapist. I can provide that guidance and help you be the best "you" you can be.
