My approach to therapy is a strong belief in the resiliency of the human spirit. I feel my client is the expert on who he/she is and my role is to facilitate greater learning and growth in a collaborative way through the therapeutic relationship. I have almost 20 years in the field and utilize various modalities to assist my client in his/her journey toward growth and healing. I work with individuals--children, teens, and adults--struggling with life adjustments, family issues, past trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorders. I have experience working with First Responders.
I am trained in EMDR therapy and equine-assisted therapy. I draw also from cognitive behavioral, interpersonal, internal family systems, and strength-based therapeutic approaches. I am a licensed clinical professional counselor. I have certification in Crisis Intervention Stress Management.
I have recently let go of my Eagle office to continue full time at my home-based private practice located in a rural setting near Middleton. My priority is to assess your needs and carefully tailor your treatment to meet those needs.
