Seeking help from a stranger during times of struggle takes a vast amount of strength and courage. It is that strength and courage that we will lean on and explore together in order to navigate the difficulties life throws our way. As a counselor, I primarily utilize Brainspotting. I also utilize EMDR and a systemic, strength based approach, primarily Cognitive Behavior therapy, to assist individuals and families with enhancing their existing assets to realize their treatment goals. My clinical experience is diverse and includes working with adolescents, and adults, as well as marital, couples, and family therapy.

For some seeing a counselor might seem intimidating, but in reality, it's an opportunity to be able to be your true self, in a safe space, with no judgment. I use the counseling technique that best suits each client. Many stuggle, for example, with anxiety, depression, grief, stress or past trauma. It is possible to feel better.

People struggle in a wide spectrum of problems, in a range of settings that require a clinical approach and direction. Through a therapeutic approach, I help clients feel understood and safe because this is an important aspect of the healing process. Helping clients understand beliefs, emotions and behaviors is an important aspect for progress . While cognitive behavioral therapy is at the core of my approach, I believe that cognitive restructuring is essential in client progress. An eclectic approach is necessary because each client is unique and presents with unique strengths, needs and goals.
