I provide therapy for adults and highly motivated older teens, primarily through EMDR. I specialize in trauma recovery, anxiety, identity exploration and acceptance, and LGBT+ issues (Including GAS letters). I enjoy helping clients work through childhood trauma and/or ongoing traumatic stress especially with power-based violence, cancer, cult survivorship, religious trauma, accidents, natural disasters, and C-PTSD. Your experience in therapy will be unique based on your goals, strengths, needs and comfort level. I believe a strength of mine is connecting with clients (both adolescents and adults) that may not be sold on the counseling process. I believe in creating an environment that fosters genuine care and compassion, in turn creating a relationship of trust with my clients. It is there where healing and growth can begin. Often times we are never challenged in a way that gives us a true understanding of self or given the opportunity to truly live a life that is not shackled by fear and anxiety and are left with a life lacking purpose and meaning.

Aimee is a psychotherapist, educator, group facilitator, and mentor. She was selected as a fellow for the National Board of Certified Counselors for one year, which she was extensively trained in many areas pertaining to different minority groups. Aimee developed a strong awareness of the needs and development of children and teens through a decade of being a teacher. Aimee’s approach to counseling focuses on mindfulness, self-compassion, sand tray and internal family systems. Aimee creates a safe therapeutic setting for every client using a variety of therapeutic approaches and collaborating with clients.

I provide Individual and Family therapy for adults and adolescents with mental health and/or other relationship/emotional/behavioral concerns (i.e. depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss). I specialize in working with trauma, grief and loss, and attachment issues. I have experience working with adults, teens, and children who’ve experienced domestic and sexual violence, those struggling with PTSD, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and relationship issues, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and folks who’ve struggled with addiction. Those experiences and beliefs may still be affecting you today, causing symptoms including anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationship problems, or other concerns. I believe you can heal! My role is to offer you compassion and safety as you do that. My practice is trauma-focused and I am EMDR trained.

Danielle is a Licensed Practicing Counselor in the state of Idaho, a board-certified counselor through the National Board of Certified Counselors, trained in EAGALA (Equine Assisted Learning and Growth Association), a HeartMath Certified Practitioner, and an ordained minister through the Full Gospel Evangelical Association. Danielle has advanced training in Lifespan Integration, Elijah House Prayer Ministry, DBT, CBT, EMDR, and TF-CBT. Danielle aims to help the client find the strength to be freed from whatever is binding them, so that they can fully experience peace, love, and joy.

I have extensive training and experience working with children, teens and young adults ages 8 through mid-twenties who struggle emotionally, behaviorally, and socially. I have firsthand experience working with kids in an educational setting as a School Counselor which has helped me better understand the challenges kids face today while at school. We will explore, identify and set goals to create an environment that fosters active participation in the counseling process through exploration of feelings, personal history, attitudes, beliefs, developmental needs, communication, self-expression, emotional regulation, and awareness.
