Accepting new clients - My approach to counseling is person centered, strengths based and existential. This means I believe the primary resource in the process is you. I value your innate desire to grow and create your life led by purpose and meaning. That said, this being human thing is hard sometimes! We may find ourselves in patterns misaligned with how we intend to navigate our lives - or struggling to understand and accept parts of ourselves. I come from a holistic approach and believe this disconnect can affect us physically, mentally, emotionally, or spiritually. Knowing these aspects of ourselves is important.

I work with individuals and couples who are seeking help to successfully navigate life transitions, relationship dynamics, health and wellness challenges, loss, grief, and bereavement. As a therapist, I consider myself an advocate for my clients; you can count on me to have faith in you and your ability to heal, grow and find peace. My experience studying, researching, and teaching Philosophy has given me a broad lens from which to view each individual, couple, and family, and tailor my approach to their unique needs.

I counsel individuals to assist them in working through life's challenges, whether it be anxiety, depression, trauma or relational and communication concerns. My modalities of treatment include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Person Centered Therapy. These are evidenced based treatments that teach clients mindfulness, regulate emotions, build distress tolerance and interpersonal skills.

I also specialize in reunification therapy and helping families and couples work together effectively and build cohesive units that successfully address life's issue, focusing and building on existing strengths, defining each client's inner strengths and helping them recognize their own truths and solutions. I emphasize communication skills and meeting each individual where they are at to gain maximum growth and recovery.

Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Integral & Transpersonal Psychology, which focuses on enhancing the needs of the mind, body and soul by integrating Eastern and Western philosophies of mental and emotional health. I really enjoy working with people with diverse backgrounds and life stories. I have much experience working with those who struggle with PTSD, grief and loss, depression, anxiety-based disorders, spiritual distress or confusion, LGBTQ+ community, and more.
