Parenting on Purpose
A 7- week group, designed as a place of support for parents who are seeking to grow and build confidence in their parenting approach. It is for the parent who may have difficulties with figuring out how to navigate challenging behaviors, interested in learning more about you and your child’s mental wellbeing; or for those who have been unable to find balance. It includes exploration of parenting styles, keys to reducing environmental stress through your parenting approach, childhood mental health, parental mental well-being, and it seeks to answer questions about common challenging behaviors.
Sparcs-Skill Training (Teen Group)
Structured Psychotherapy for Adolescents Responding to Chronic Stress (SPARCS -ST) is a 6 - session group designed to build and enhance emotional regulation skills, communication skills, and healthy relationship development. This group incorporates principles from CBT, DBT, TARGET, and Trauma and Grief Therapy Components. Teens who engage in this group may struggle with depression, anxiety, anger, behavioral challenges, poor decision making, communication or relationship challenges. They will learn skills including but not limited to: mindfulness, distress tolerance, communication, cognitive coping, healthy relationship development, and meaning making. (Recommended ages 12 - 17)
