My name is Ian, and I have practiced as a licensed professional counselor since 2016. I enjoy working with individuals, couples and families and helping them to experience growth and healing in their lives. Whether you are experiencing life stressors, relationship trouble, or are seeking growth, I collaborate with you to identify what hasn't been working! Together, we can address internal or relational factors preventing you from living a more fulfilling life!
Much of the training I have done has focused on interventions focused on the counselor/client relationship and the client's relationships with others. These include certificates in Child Centered Play Therapy, certificate in Relationship Enhancement for couples and families, and training in both IFS and Filial Family Therapy.
In sessions, I will take time to listen to your story, connect with you about the concerns and problems in your life, and help you to adopt a stance of curiosity and compassion towards your internal experiences.
