My goal is not only finding the safe, confidential space within therapy but also the ability for each individual to walk away with a greater sense of connection and understanding of themselves, while also feeling supported and accepted on your terms. With this increased acceptance of self you are able to focus on your present and future goals, relationships with others and manage emotions in a healthier manner. This road can be difficult at times, but taking the first step with starting therapy can help you achieve what you envision for your life.

Reaching out to someone you’ve never met and opening up about your life isn’t easy. It’s completely normal to feel unsure or overwhelmed. I’m here to walk alongside you through many of life’s challenges — things like anxiety, depression, relationship stress, big life changes, and all the complicated feelings that come with them. If you’re feeling stuck, disconnected, weighed down, or simply not yourself, you don’t have to sort through it alone. I offer a steady, compassionate space where you can talk openly, make sense of what’s going on, and start moving toward the kind of change that feels meaningful to you.

You may be standing at a crossroads - a marriage shifting, a role changing, children leaving, a career that no longer fits. Or perhaps there's no single event, just a quiet knowing that something has been pushed down for too long. Many women I work with feel disconnected from themselves - carrying patterns, old wounds, and the weight of expectations that were never truly theirs. I don't focus on diagnoses or labels; I focus on you - your story, your patterns, and reconnecting you with the clarity and strength that was always yours. Healing yourself is merely the doorway and is quietly one of the most generous things you can do.

**Currently Accepting New Clients** Mental health is important now more than ever as increased solitude and stress can only heighten symptoms that are already plaguing individuals, couples, and families. It is increasingly important to take the steps necessary to maintain that health through seeking a trusting and empathetic source of support and connection.

I'm a dedicated registered play therapist with a passion for working with children aged three and up. Approximately 80% of my practice is focused on helping young clients navigate their emotions and experiences through play. I believe it’s essential for children to have their own designated space for therapy, which is why I offer a specially designed Play Therapy room in our clinic. This environment allows children to step away from a traditional office setting and engage in therapeutic play that fosters healing and growth.

Do you feel overwhelmed and burnt out, unable to say "no" to others? Do you constantly go out of your way for everyone else, hoping to receive the same in return? Maybe you're struggling to understand who you are or dealing with feelings of not being good enough. I help people like you navigate parenting, build self-confidence, challenge anxious thoughts, and establish healthy boundaries. It might seem impossible to make changes. Prioritizing yourself may even feel selfish, but you deserve the same love you give others.

My clients are women who are tired of carrying everything — the mental load, the burnout, the quiet suspicion that their brain works differently than everyone sees and expects. Many are navigating an ADHD diagnosis (recent or long overdue) and trying to make sense of what it actually means for their life. Others are deep in stress, relational strain, or the kind of exhaustion that doesn't go away with a good night's sleep. They come in motivated and ready — they just need someone real in their corner to help them untangle what's happening and build something that actually works.

Women's Issues Therapists
How do you encourage a woman to go to therapy?
It’s helpful to express concern and love for the person while framing therapy as a tool for improving their life. Offering specific examples of how an individual may be suffering, and what effects it has on them, should be done with compassion and with empathy. It may be useful to devise a game plan—breaking the process down into parts, such as finding a therapist, making appointments, and looking into insurance coverage.

How can women prepare for therapy?
Women can prepare for therapy by being willing to talk about their past experiences and their private thoughts. Before a session, an individual may want to reflect on how they’ve felt since the last session and what’s happened in their lives. Between sessions, it can be useful to write down notes about their reaction to a given event or how they felt at a particular time.

How long does therapy for women’s issues often last?
As with any type of therapy, sessions depend on the individual and the challenges they face. Therapy types like Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Prolonged exposure therapy (PET), and Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) can be brief, most often ranging from between 5 and 20 sessions. In some cases, such as for women with eating disorders, residential treatment may be recommended for an individual who is judged to be at high risk of self-harm. For any therapy, the duration will depend on the progress made and results realized.

How can women overcome stigma around specific challenges in order to seek therapy?
Women dealing with domestic abuse, sexual assault, eating disorders, and any other number of troubles may feel a stigma around seeking help. It’s important to remember that these issues are not uncommon and there is no shame in getting help for them. Therapy is confidential, and women can talk about their experiences without fear of judgment. Seeking therapy can be a courageous and liberating act, and an important step toward healing and recovery.
