I love helping children with their big thoughts and feelings that they're having trouble sorting through. In therapy, we're able to make space for big emotions that can disrupt a childcare or classroom setting. Clients learn how to express their emotions in multiple ways, with strong preference given to verbalizing their feelings so that others can understand and help. I also love working with adults addressing their mental health. Through active listening and unconditional positive regard, I hope to provide a safe space where adults can explore how they wish to grow and change without fear of judgment.

Life can feel messy, heavy, or uncertain- and that’s okay. Therapy is a space where you get to be fully yourself: defining what’s working, what’s not, and where you want to go. It’s rooted in real connection, not quick fixes, and guided by the belief that healing isn’t about fixing what’s broken, but rediscovering what’s already inside of you- resilience, clarity, and the strength to move forward. All parts of you are welcome- the messy, the heavy, and the hard to name. If anxiety, grief, trauma, or life changes leave you stuck, therapy can help you find your way.

Do you feel disconnected from yourself and unsure of what you truly want or need? Are you trying to balance school, work, relationships, and rest, yet still feel overwhelmed, anxious, or not “good enough”? You might find yourself overthinking, struggling to set boundaries, or constantly putting others first while your needs go unmet. If this is you, it sounds like you are ready to understand the root of your struggles. You long for a gentler, more compassionate relationship with yourself. Most of all, you want to be a more aligned, authentic, and empowered version of you.

You're tired of feeling stuck in the same patterns—the relationship conflicts that keep repeating, the anxiety that won't quiet down, the sense that you're going through the motions instead of actually living. You know something needs to change, but you're not sure where to start. Together, we'll look at both what's happening now and what shaped these patterns. I help clients untangle the thoughts that keep them trapped, process emotions they've been carrying too long, and develop tools that actually work in real life—not just in theory.

I work with ADHD, anxiety, burnout, trauma, identity development, relationship stress, and gender-affirming care.
If you are going to therapy you should feel like you have a secret weapon. Some people might want to come in and go deep on the philosophical dilemmas of life; others come in because they are online staring into the abyss with the walls closing in. If this vibes, reach out to me and see how deep the rabbit hole goes.

I specialize in working with teens and adults struggling with substance use, mood disorders, ADHD, and OCD.
My approach is a bit different than traditional talk therapy, which can be a great fit and offer relief for those who have tried talk-only therapy but felt they weren't given actual tools to address their concerns. This is also a great fit for those who wish to have a more structured approach and want to be held accountable but need support.

When should I seek treatment for ADHD?
You should seek treatment for ADHD if you consistently have difficulty with attention, hyperactivity, or impulsivity that interferes with your daily life. Symptoms of ADHD include the inability to sustain attention during tasks, difficulty organizing tasks and activities, being easily distracted, frequent fidgeting or squirming, and talking or interrupting excessively. If these symptoms interfere with your career, academics, or relationships—for example, consistently failing to complete professional projects on time—you should seek an evaluation for ADHD.

How does treatment for ADHD work?
Effective treatment for ADHD often consists of medication, behavioral therapy, and lifestyle changes. Stimulant medications such as Adderall and Ritalin work by altering levels of neurotransmitters in the brain; higher levels of dopamine and norepinephrine are known to improve attention and focus. Therapy works by helping people with ADHD understand the condition, discuss their areas of difficulty, and develop behavioral strategies to manage their symptoms. In some cases, modifying one’s diet and exercise can also help improve symptoms.

Are there specific medications for ADHD?
Medications to treat ADHD are generally stimulants, the most common are Adderall and Ritalin. There are two categories of stimulants: Amphetamines include Adderall, Dyanavel, Vyvanse, and Dexedrine, and methylphenidates include Ritalin, Concerta, Daytrana, Focalin, Quillichew, Quillivant, and Metadate. Non-stimulants and antidepressants may be used as an alternative if stimulants aren’t effective or viable for a particular patient.

How long does treatment for ADHD take?
It’s tough to give an exact time frame because everyone varies. In terms of medications, stimulants begin to work very soon after you take them, generally within the hour. It may take time to identify the right medication and dosage, but the medication itself is fast-acting. In terms of therapy, it takes time to develop skills and put them into practice, but you will likely see improvements within a few weeks or months.
