Are you consumed with incessant, looping thoughts that make it difficult to focus on tasks at hand and be present with the people around you? Perhaps you engage in perfectionistic thinking and are overly hard on yourself, always second guessing your decisions, stressing about making a mistake and thinking you could have done something better. Welcome to my profile, and approach: with Mindfulness informed choices, we can transform our lives into ones of meaning, reducing our suffering.

If you're overwhelmed at work and feeling like you’re failing or barely holding things together in life, I can guide you back to a state of calm and balance.
Chronic work stress and work- life imbalance are often the result of habit loops in the brain. Routines of responsibility, achievement and pushing through stress - probably ignoring signals your body has been sending you, eventually catch up. I can help you learn to read and rewire these signals with both daily practices and releasing the built-up tension.

I offer a calm and nurturing environment and enjoy working with others to help them pursue their goals and to live a peaceful, healthy life.
Struggling with anxiety, depression, and self-esteem challenges can seem endless and exhausting. I have over a decade of experience working with children, teens, and adults who present with many different symptoms. Meeting my clients where they are and working together to find balance, stability, and compassion is at the forefront of my practice. Therapy is a great tool to start to that process. Establishing rapport and building a connection with these individuals is very important to my therapeutic approach. I admire those who take that first step in reaching their goals. Please reach out with questions!

With a collaborative, person-centered approach I am here to help you navigate life’s challenges while also honoring our humanness.
I appreciate (not shame!) the coping strategies that have kept you afloat until today. However, just because it works, doesn’t mean it’s working. You will quickly notice my emphasis on learning and engaging in the skills that lead to emotional serenity and a life worth living. YOU are the expert in your own life — my role is to help you master it.

Life Coaching Therapists

What can I expect from life coaching?

Clients and coaches will typically start by identifying the problem area(s) that the client hopes to address—then, the coach will help the client brainstorm potential solutions and explore concrete techniques to help the client attain their goals. Coaching is typically short-term and focused on finding solutions in the here and now, rather than exploring a client’s past. In addition to strategies aimed at the client’s specific concerns, coaches may encourage general stress management techniques such as meditation.

Can a life coach help treat anxiety?

Because the majority of life coaches are not licensed clinicians, they are not qualified to diagnose or treat anxiety. Anyone struggling with anxiety or another mental health condition should seek help from a licensed mental health practitioner. However, some coaching clients who struggle with subclinical anxiety report that working with their coach on other problems—such as career dissatisfaction or unhealthy habits—has a positive effect on their anxiety.

Can life coaching be done online?

Yes. While life coaching often happens in person, many coaches conduct sessions over the phone or via online platforms such as Zoom or Skype. Because life coaches are not subject to local licensing regulations in the same way that therapists are, they are able to see clients who live in other locations.

How long does life coaching last?

Life coaching tends to be a shorter-term process than therapy, though it does not always unfold over a specific period of time and is instead based on the coach’s or the client’s preferences. Coaching often takes place over three to 12 months but may be shorter or longer if necessary.
