My ideal patient is an adolescent or adult navigating anxiety, trauma, OCD, mood challenges, or identity concerns. Many feel stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand and want deeper insight into how their past, relationships, and inner conflicts shape their present. Some are also exploring questions of faith or spiritual identity. I offer a depth-oriented, faith-friendly space for clients seeking more than symptom relief—lasting growth, emotional clarity, and a stronger, more grounded sense of self. They’re ready to do meaningful work and want a therapist who can hold both clinical complexity and human nuance.

I have immediate openings available! I view myself as my clients' biggest cheerleader and strive to help them process and understand the power and control they have over their own life. We all experience a lot of difficult things and struggle with unique issues. You are the expert on yourself, and I learn about you, from you. What you can expect to learn from me is: processing what you've been through and experienced, ADHD symptom control, coping skills, healthy communication in couples, reducing anxiety, managing emotions, being able to share and speak about trauma; these are some things we can focus on.

It is not a therapists job to tell an individual how to live their life.
At Inside Out Wellness and Advocacy I work with a diverse population that I hope to provide individualized care as a Mental Health Counselor that will allow individuals to develop a more complete view of self. By developing a clinical practice that works with individuals, families, and groups it is hoped that clients can develop a more inclusive view of the world around them and their place within that world. By helping these individuals to be present in the moment and to be open to the world around them it is hoped a healthier self will evolve.

My job as your therapist is to find the type of treatment that works best for you.
Do you ever feel like life keeps moving faster than you can catch your breath? Maybe you’re managing anxiety, depression, or the heaviness of stress while also trying to hold everything together for everyone else. You’re craving peace and balance, but instead, you end up feeling drained and discouraged.

I’ve spent much of my life working with and supporting children, families, and couples, both personally and professionally. My approach comes from real-life experience as much as it does from counseling work, and I believe that truly understanding people starts with meeting them where they are. I have experience working with children and adolescents facing a variety of challenges, as well as supporting adults and couples through life’s ups and downs. I understand how stress, communication struggles, and everyday pressures can impact relationships and family life.

Career Counseling Therapists
How do I know if I need career counseling?
Determining whether a career counselor is needed involves assessing one's current career and identifying what changes can be made to improve one's overall quality of life. In particular, feelings of loss of motivation, fatigue, anxiety, depression, procrastination, or ongoing levels of high stress can all be indicative of a need for career-related counseling. In addition, individuals changing jobs may want the decision-making support or self-reflection opportunities provided by a career counselor.

Who can benefit from career counseling?
Anyone can benefit from the self-reflection, skill development, and stress management techniques that career counseling can provide. However, individuals who are feeling overwhelmed or burnt out with their current job and individuals considering a major career change may particularly benefit from career counseling to improve their wellbeing. Additionally, individuals who are facing issues in their current job, such as coworker relationship challenges or not meeting performance goals, may benefit from the perspective that a career counselor can provide. College-age or young professionals may also uniquely benefit from career counseling as they make key decisions surrounding education and job training that will impact their career trajectory.

How long does career counseling typically last?
The length of career counseling can vary greatly depending on the needs of the individual and what type of support they are seeking. Career coaching or advising services—which serve clients in a specific, goal-oriented capacity—often last for a shorter duration and are sometimes only a single session or a few sessions in length. In contrast, career counseling as part of a more integrative therapeutic relationship with a counselor may last longer, particularly if the issues faced by the client are longstanding and/or more complex in nature; in such cases, individuals may expect therapy to last multiple months or longer.

How to prepare for career counseling?
Clients can prepare for career counseling sessions by outlining the specific topics they would like to address with the counselor, such as current job challenges or hopes for the future of their career. Compiling one's thoughts on such topics often requires reflection on one's career and future goals, which in itself can be beneficial for session preparation. Clients may also want to put together a list of questions they would like to ask the counselor, particularly if the career counselor they are seeing has particular expertise in a given career area. Conducting research into potential future jobs, training opportunities, or support resources in one's area may also help clients prepare for career counseling by providing them with a background of what resources are available in their area.
