I have worked with trauma for almost ten years and I have loved every second of it. People often ask me how hard my job is, and it is hard but it is also so rewarding. I love sitting with people in their discomfort and going with them on their difficult but very worthwhile journey.
I have worked with trauma for many years but two and a half years ago my son was diagnosed with Autism and that has led me on a journey to find answers for him. I’ve learned a lot and hope to help lighten the load of others who may be on a similar path.
Life is hard. I don’t know too many people who get to escape this completely but I do know having someone there to feel with you, to give your direction and support you, can make all the difference.
