I am a licensed marriage and family therapist providing mental health services to families and individuals in the Fairfield county area. I've worked with individuals and families from all walks of life dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression and major life stressors. At my practice my goal is to provide clients and families with a safe place to heal and grow. I view the individual person as a 'whole'; I consider all parts of the individuals' life that contribute to their distress, whether that may be a stressful job, martial issues, an acting out teenager, financial strains, acculturation issues, a recent loss, etc.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and hold a Doctorate Degree in Behavioral Health from Arizona State University as well as a master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bellevue University. I have training in issues related to anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transitions, school issues, self-esteem, substance use, and more. With my clients, I take a non-judgmental approach; using openness, transparency, and direct communication. I use a cognitive behavioral approach with my clients as well as utilize motivational interviewing techniques, mindfulness and am client centered.

As a mental health collective, we assist members by providing talk and skills-based therapies which have been shown to be effective in alleviating symptoms of anxiety and depression without medication.
