I believe our mental health is deeply related to both the challenging circumstances of our daily lives and the quality of our relationships with ourselves and others. I therefore seek to build trust through honesty and radical compassion because we all must be understood within the context of the life we’ve lived. I’m committed to the creation of an authentic therapeutic relationship through which you can experience the trust and support necessary to access your strengths, foster self-compassion, and cultivate a sense of empowerment to navigate life’s challenges.
I enjoy treating a very wide range of concerns, from relationship challenges to severe anxiety and depression to chronic thoughts of suicide. I'm trained in several evidence-based approaches to therapy, which I use flexibly while applying a strengths-based, multicultural lens to ensure that you’re treated with warmth, dignity, and respect for who you are.
My hope is that our time together can empower you to meet your personal goals and to navigate life’s adversities with meaning and satisfaction. By working together to foster self-trust, agency, and empowerment in the face of adversity and complex societal systems, I believe our work together can be an important step towards dismantling systems of oppression.
