Why therapy? Why now? Many of the talents and qualities that make someone successful in one area of life can pose difficulties in others. Unique life circumstances are common in my practice, and I am familiar with the challenges entailed by unconventional lifestyles. Especially creative, musical, expressive, and artistic ones. Perhaps you are already aware of your need for a safe, non-judgmental environment in which to explore, repair, and heal from life’s challenges. However, you may not be certain, and that's not a problem.
In my practice, I offer a space in which you decide what happens. Our relationship begins the minute you reach out, and we will be guided only by what is important to you. My philosophy revolves around awareness and integration of all of the unique features of your life. Nothing is taboo, and your experience deserves full attention.
Whether you have a specific goal which would be aided by a therapeutic relationship, or you have open-ended aspects of your life that warrant exploration, I will not insist on an explanation. I work with many people who have idiosyncratic needs, and I remain open to any circumstance.
