I work with ALL ages. Adults, elderly, couples, children and adolescents, even toddlers. Our work together can help alleviate anxiety, depression, relationship issues. I am also an ABA Therapist that has done extensive work with Autism Spectrum Disorders at all levels. ABA is a specialty, but my work goes well beyond. I can help you gain insight, realize where some of your difficulties have led you away from living a more harmonious lifestyle.

I began practicing in Maryland in 1978. I resumed practicing in New York in 2004 and added an office in New Jersey in 2013. My practice covers a broad age range from 2-90. I am most comfortable treating adults with a variety of mental health issues. I also see couples and do family therapy. In addition, I have done play therapy with children. I am also comfortable conducting psychological evaluations of children ranging in age from a year to 21 years. I am an expert in developmental disabilities including autism spectrum disorders.

We noticed these communities were confronted with long wait times, disrespectful admins, and subpar treatment. The one and only purpose was to exploit the community for profit without providing the level of care deserved. Feel Better Therapy began from the inspiration to provide quality mental health care to the poorest of communities and treating the clients of this community the same way a rich patient would be treated in a clinic treating affluent clients.

Gloria has extensive experience providing support to individuals of all ages with varying needs. She specializes in treating depression, anxiety, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Using a person-centered approach, Gloria employs and integrates many different treatment modalities including CBT, Behavioral Activation and Interpersonal Psychotherapy. She has experience working as a therapist in various settings. Gloria is an active listener who believes that a strong therapeutic alliance is the foundation for successful therapeutic outcomes.
