During this time I worked for twelve years as a civilian psychotherapist with the Army and Air Force here and overseas. I am grateful for the immense experience I have gained. I service the Lake Norman area and North Charlotte. I provide individual, couple and family psychotherapy. I am also eager to serve military personnel/veterans/families. Additionally I have increased my practice to include First Responders (EMS, Law Enforcement and Fire personnel).

My approach to therapy is a culmination of my life's work with people in a variety of settings. My philosophy of therapy grows out of my many years as an interfaith pastoral care giver. I have worked with trauma at Albert Einstein Medical Center (Philadelphia, PA). I am a Veteran with combat experience as a Chaplain during Operation Iraqi Freedom. I have served as a clinical, interfaith, spiritual care provider at Pitt County Memorial Hospital (Greenville, NC), Duke HomeCare and Hospice (Durham, NC), and Rex Hospital (Raleigh, NC). I believe that people are "living human documents" continually under revision.
