Hello! I’m Patricia Toscano. I am a Marriage and Family Therapist. I’ve been providing counseling to BIPOC for the past 12 years. When I first began my career, I never thought I’d become an expert at trauma, violence, and relationship issues. My career path has afforded me the privilege to help people with intimate relationship issues and concerns with violence and trauma. My ability to be fluent in Spanish and to understand the various factors related to the living experience of BIPOC has granted me the opportunity to guide my client’s in a better understanding of their lives and to help them come to a resolution.

With more than 30 years of experience, I combine a range of modalities in a supportive counseling atmosphere that combines elements of life coaching with deeper reworking of old patterns that no longer serve. During my 30 years as a therapist I have found that once an unworkable pattern is revealed and the emotions connected to that are expressed, your authentic self is more available. As the internal conflicts fade; relationships become more fulfilling and the meaning and purpose of your true nature becomes evident. I assist each person to create a plan that reflects their values and unique contributions in order to achieve that goal.

I'm a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist who specializes in addiction and anxiety and is fully trained in EMDR and Trauma Treatment. I received my Bachelors in Christian Psychology from Biola University and also offers Christian Counseling.

I have been part of the mental health field since 2017. I earned my MA in Psychology with a dual concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy and Professional Clinical Counseling. After earning my degree, I have participated in many webinars and training to continue expanding my knowledge. During my journey of becoming a licensed therapist, I have gained much field experience and guidance from different mentors which have shaped my career as a therapist.
