Wellness, self-care, and learning how to improve life in many areas are key factors to better mental health. Unique areas that I have experience helping people through counseling services are: stress, career/work-related transitions, self-awareness, and lifestyle issues that impact adolescents, and young and older adults. Additionally, I work with a team of mental health care professionals who address racial and social justice concerns that impact mental wellbeing. Culturally-informed and individualized to address depression, anxiety, grief/loss, study skills, anger, identity security, and self-esteem.
To help people through the counseling services that I provide, I support individuals, couples, and groups via ways that consider individual differences, validation, worldviews, focused and problem-solving modalities. In essence, I help people according to an unconditional appreciation of who they are and all the ways they may identify to move forward.
